Fallow Deer
Taken August 9, 2007
This Fallow deer stag was photographed in Kent. Since being introduced into Britain by the Normans, this species of deer has become the most widespread in the country. It originally inhabited the Mediterranean region of Europe.
I photographed this stag in the late afternoon, when the sun was low and casting a warm light.
